Drop-off is between 8:35 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. Children should be in their classroom at 8:45 a.m.
An adult should always escort children to the front door of the school or bring students to the curbside drop-off.
See below for drop-off procedures for children attending the Bridge Before Care Program or receiving school breakfast.
Parent or Sibling Escort
PK3 and PK4 students should be escorted to their classrooms or breakfast by either an adult or by a 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th grade sibling. Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th grade students may escort themselves to their classroom or breakfast from the front door. Please allow ample time for upper class students to escort younger siblings to their classroom and still be in their classroom by 8:45 a.m.
Curbside Drop-Off
Curbside drop-off is available on F Street traveling from 10th Street towards 9th Street): A school staff member will be there to open the car door, help any students out, and escort them to the main school door. Curbside drop-off is available between 8:15 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. for students receiving breakfast. All other students can be dropped off curbside between 8:35 a.m. and 8:45 a.m.
Students Attending the Bridge Extended Day Before Care Program
For students attending Bridge Before Care, an adult should escort the child to the cafeteria and sign them in to the before care program. The Bridge Extended Day program offers before care each school morning from 7:15 a.m. to 8:40 a.m.
Students Receiving School Breakfast
Students eating school breakfast may arrive between 8:15 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Students receiving breakfast will be escorted to their hallways and/or classrooms by classroom assistants beginning at 8:40 a.m. If your child comes later than 8:30 a.m., they will receive a to-go breakfast bag that they will take to the classroom to eat.
Students Arriving by School Bus
Students arriving by bus will be escorted by staff and bus attendants to their appropriate places, whether it is the classroom or cafeteria.
