School Within School’s Goding school building completed its full modernization in time for the 2022-2023 school year! The renovation included several art displays created by local artists (including an incredible “Wings” mural), a two-story library, an outdoor classroom, two ateliers, open piazzas, and much more! On August 29, 2022, the first day of school, Mayor Muriel Bowser, DCPS Chancellor Lewis Ferebee, Councilmember Charles Allen, and many more distinguished guests joined SWS Principal John Burst and our school community in a ribbon-cutting ceremony officially opening up our new school!
